LULAC Lambda has awarded 15 scholarships totaling nearly $20,000 since 2018. We support local excellence by uplifting scholars who have a made a difference in school and in the community. Click here.

Our membership provides events for fellowship centered around culture, music and art. One popular event that we host is our annual Tamalada. Members learn how to make tamales from all over Latin America.

Mentorship
LULAC Lambda members volunteer at DC high schools to mentor Latinx youth with a professional speaking series, field trips to universities and community service projects. LULAC Lambda also funds an afternoon snack.

Scholarship Bingo Fundraiser
The DC Sisters will host bingo to raise money for the LULAC Lambda scholarship on Thursday, March 5, from 7 to 9 p.m. at Red Bear Brewing (209 M St NE).
